July 18 – Halifax, Nova Scotia

Although we have spotted one whale from the ship, today we embarked on a nature and whale watching adventure on the Haligonian III. We cruised along the coastlines of George’s Island and McNab’s Island to the North Atlantic. Unfortunately we didn’t see whales, just lobsters, birds and seals. But we did get to kiss the lobster.

Halifax has the world’s second largest natural harbor, next to Sydney, Australia. And it never freezes.

On to the Citadel.
