Looks like an interesting Itinerary.
We should be so lucky: Currently we’re on our ATW 2024 journey, but we are losing half of it because we are not able to go through the Red Sea to do the Mediterranean part of the trip. Now we are faced with having to go right around the African Continent which non of us had planned on. No alternative, no choice and no compensation. Because when it is an Act of God, or War, Oceania says they are not obliged to provide compensation is.
The next difficult part is because there are over 400 ATW passengers, many ports in Africa will not have the facilities to accommodate so many of us, so more than half of us will be faced with “sold out” on many ports. So now, not only will we be faced with another 13+ sea day, many of us will not be able to get access to booking some of the the excursion tours. They have to resort to having us draw lots as to who can or cannot get tickets for many of these tours. In the end, it will mean more sea days for us. I just feel so sad and sorry for those who has sunken their life savings on this “once in a life time journey”. Enjoy your trip! Violet

Enjoy the journey. Looking forward to your postings so we can travel with you. We were in Morrocco for several weeks this past year and loved it with Gate 1 Travel.
